Meet the Owners

Ali Wilbert
MS, BCBA, LBA, LMLP

Chief Executive Officer and Founder

As the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Born to Blossom Behavioral Therapy, a practice dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Southeast Kansas, she is committed to building connections within the community through compassionate, person-centered care. With twelve years of experience across diverse settings, she has supported children with autism in early intervention programs, collaborated with professionals in special day schools to reduce severe behaviors, and provided Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), staff training, and risk management services to agencies serving adults with intellectual disabilities.

Her work in intermediate care facilities has allowed her to assist children and adults with challenging behaviors, helping them build the skills needed to transition back to their homes and schools. Born to Blossom was founded with a mission to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed behavioral therapy and diagnostic services to rural communities where resources are often limited. Having served the Southeast Kansas area for over a decade, she is deeply invested in training new professionals and expanding essential services for the community, ensuring everyone has access to the support they deserve.

Chelsey Wilbert
MS, BCBA, LBA

Chief Financial Officer and Founder

Chelsey is the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder of Born to Blossom Behavioral Therapy. Her journey in this field began in grad school, where she gained invaluable experience through her practicum in an intermediate care facility. As she advanced in her studies, Chelsey expanded her expertise across home, community, and school-based settings, driven by a commitment to providing high-quality care to underserved populations.

Motivated by the pressing need for accessible services in Southeast Kansas, where individuals previously faced long travel times for specialized care, Chelsey co-founded Born to Blossom. With six years of experience, she has developed a unique specialization in combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with behavior analysis, equipping clients to face life’s challenges and make meaningful progress toward their personal goals. Chelsey’s expertise also includes practical functional analysis and skill-based treatment, employing evidence-based practices to safely and effectively address severe behaviors. Her work is dedicated to identifying the underlying causes of behaviors and replacing them with functional skills that fulfill the same needs. Additionally, she is passionate about functional communication training, empowering individuals to communicate their needs vocally or through alternative communication methods.

Chelsey’s vision for Born to Blossom is to set the standard for quality therapy services and guide clients toward fulfilling and meaningful lives.
